Selling to the C-Suite was an 8-week online program offered by Wharton Executive Education for Microsoft's sales executives. Participants who completed this program are able to use tools, frameworks, and strategies to communicate and collaborate effectively with C-Suite executives. They are better equipped to propose Microsoft solutions that create value and meet the challenges that C-Suite executives are facing within their organizations.
The course provided a comprehensive overview of website development. I explored the prevailing vocabulary, tools, and standards used in the field and learned how the various facets—including HTML5, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, multimedia, scripting languages, HTTP, clients, servers, and databases—function together in today's web environment. The course provided a solid web development foundation, focusing on content and client-side (browser) components (HTML5, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, multimedia), with an overview of the server-side technologies. In addition, software and services that were easily incorporated into a website (for example, maps, checkout, blogs, content management) were surveyed and discussed. I produced an interactive website for the final project and left the course prepared for more advanced and focused web development studies.
